2. Old Mutual Bursaries

The company offers their bursaries to people that passionately want to pursue their careers in the Chartered Accounting field and make a difference. To qualify for a bursary, you have to have a metric with level 6 for all subjects or at least 70%, this includes English and Mathematics (not Math’s Literacy).
To gain a bursary you have to commit to their CA Training Programs, after the programs for a specified period of time you will be working for the Old Mutual. 3. KPMG Bursaries
If you are studying towards your a CAs (SA) or a Chartered Accountant (SAICA accredited)degree, then the KPMG Company has 2two bursary opportunities for you. The Merit Bursary with Financial Needs will be given based on your financial position and academic results. The Pure Merit Bursary will be given based on your academic results alone. Both of the company’s bursaries are given to their candidates that have prestigious academic results.
You may apply for only one of the two bursaries. It is advised that you apply for their Merit Bursary accompanied by Financial Needs, this is if you cannot finish your studying without that additional financial support and if you need full student funding.

4. Deloitte &Touche Bursary
Deloitte’s company name in South Africa is ‘Deloitte &Touche’, and they are the leading providers of Taxation Services, Risk Advisory Services, Consulting, Corporate Finance and Auditing Survives. Not only does Deloitte &Touche operate in 17 cities across the entire country but they also have more than 3800 employees in South African Alone. The company’s bursaries are only offered to people who study towards Chartered Accountancy qualifications, either a BCom Accounting or a Postgraduate Accounting Diploma.
The Deloitte &Touche bursary will only cover all the following expenses: accommodation (to a limited amount), prescribed books and tuition fees. Their bursaries are given to candidates that are studying or who want to study towards a Chartered Accountant (SA) qualifications, either through HNS, CAT, Business Science, BCom Accounting, BAcc or similar.
