1. Spoornet (Transnet Freight Rail) Bursaries

Transnet South Africa is one of the biggest freight transport companies and Spoornet is only a part of it. Transnet consists of 5 main divisions namely Transnet National Ports Authority, Transnet Port Terminals, Transnet Freight Rail, Transnet Engineering, Transnet Specialist and Pipelines Unit. The Spoornet Philosophy is ‘One Company, One Vision’.

All applicants that want to have a potential future with the Spoornet Company are welcomed with open arms. The Spoornet Company wants to help all their candidates achieve and bring their dreams to life.

2. Department of Correctional Services Bursaries

Every year the Department of Correctional Services has a wide verity of bursaries available for unemployed South African citizens. With their bursaries, the company wants to decrease the number of unemployed South African citizens. The company wants to also help all their candidates with their future needs when it comes to personnel. They want to attract candidates that are capable, eager to learn and have high standards with their employment and retention strategies.

The Gauteng Department of Health bursary was initially created by the Department of health to help widen the skill set in South Africa’s medical field. This skill is currently very scarce in the country. You can get this company’s bursary in the following fields of study;

I am very much interested in studying MA Clinical Psychology, I would like to get a bursary as it would be difficult for me to pay my fees. I am under the care of my single mother and grandmother. My mother is an intern for 12 months and does not get paid much and my grandmother is a pensioner.
